Mediation has become a method of choice for those going through separation or divorce who are seeking a resolution.

Why spend thousands of dollars on legal fees in an acrimonious and lengthy court-battle?

Mediation is a less-adversarial, and cost-efficient method to resolve Family Law issues arising from separation or divorce. However, the choice of Mediator is important, as this area is not well-regulated, and you could end up with a mediator that does not have the appropriate experience, or qualifications.

Many people advertise themselves as mediators, but they might not be lawyers; or they might not have proper qualifications to be involved with resolving Family Law matters.

We are lawyers and mediators. We also have many years of experience. We are fully accredited with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation^*. We can assist with resolving custody and access disputes, child support, spousal support, and asset division.
